never thought I was good enough. When I was a little girl, I was always picked last in gym class. I never felt like I had a best friend or someone I could truly rely on. Even in the things I loved—singing, ice skating, fashion, creativity, my ability to lead—I often felt overlooked. If I could go back, I would wrap that little girl in the biggest hug and tell her how beautiful and valuable she is. I would remind her that even if no one noticed her gifts, she mattered deeply—both to the people who love her and to Jesus. Life isn’t measured by how many boys ask you to dance, or by what number you’re chosen in gym class. It’s measured by compassion, kindness, and the way you care for others. And those are things she always carried in abundance. I wish she could know that her gifts—her love, her service, her creativity—are exactly what make her life so meaningful. That being chosen by others will never define her, because she was already chosen, already loved, already enough
