LA girlies unhinged 🤍🤎 Parenting is hard. I’d be lying if I said it was always just the best thing ever. It causes internal shifting, pruning of self, and self control. Day by day, hour by hour, and sometimes minute by minute, choosing to show up for your family and choose joy. I think the art of becoming a parent is a crucial process of life and growth. Forcing ourselves to care for someone every single day, other than ourselves is SO good for us. Some people take this roll-on with Grace . In fact, they live their whole life for their kids. For others, it doesn’t come as easy, and it takes sacrifice and unconditional love to get through hard seasons. Children help reveal the selfishness that we all have. But it causes us to live in such a way that we see the world through our kids filter. Like we are reliving our childhood in a new way. Not to mention, the miracle and blessing it is to raise children. To have someone to pour into and cultivate their fullest potential. It’s amazing. But it’s hard. The little things that you do every single day, the victories that go unnoticed by other people, the misunderstanding of other parents that don’t have a kid like yours or don’t parent in a way that you do, the loneliness at times of feeling like you’re missing out, but you’re not. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. You are the best parent for your child. It’s not easy, but it’s so worth it. Before you have kids and experience these things yourself you don’t care or better yet have an idea of the way you are going to parent. It’s all part of the process.
