spent the weekend in Hanover visiting my daughter @katie_of_the_lake who is doing badass science things and who generously talked to me for hours about all the ways science is professionally broken so i can write it into this next novel (look up Curt Richter and his rats 👀👀) (also craft trick ply scientists with food and drink so that they tell you the things you need to convincingly write fictional scientists 😂😂) Dartmouth is gorgeous and idyllic but too remote for my sanity 😂😂 swipe to see the rope swing straight out of some gothic campus novel which we tested fate on twice by swinging out onto the lake 😅😅
