Yesterday I went jogging in my new neighborhood in Troy, found a trailhead that went up a long and steep hill, on my way back down I came upon a browsing young deer, I passed by within 5 feet of him, then almost immediately two brilliant blue jays flew out in front of me, it’s good to be back in the urban wild, thank you for welcoming me to Troy 🦌 Photo from yesterday cleaning out my apartment in Albany, where I was lucky to live in a gorgeous building among human and animal friends 🗝
