YOU’RE THE NURSE One of the most terrifying sentences I heard in nursing school - It meant that the decision was mine to make, the patient was mine to save, that I had been taught everything I needed to know I just needed to think and do it. We were in our last simulation lab session working a tough patient that had many complex issues and a lot to look at. Just as we always did, I started bouncing ideas off of my professor and she looked at me and smiled and said “Who’s the nurse?” Valentine’s Day marked my 1 year anniversary of getting my license to be a Registered Nurse in Texas 🔥 Love this job and I love my patients 👶🏼
