P r i d e 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ - although pride month is well and truely over, todays vote in the US lower house which saw 157 republicans vote against enshrining same sex marriage into federal law is a stark reminder that our fight is not over. Thinking back to when this photo was taken at Tel Aviv Pride last month and how liberated and accepted we felt, it’s hard to imagine that those freedoms and basic human rights could so quickly be taken away for members of our worldwide community by those that still think of us as second class citizens. Today is a reminder that we must stay vigilant. We must stay awake and visible. We must continue the fight not only for ourselves but for all those that fall under the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride isn’t just a monthly occurrence once a year, it is every day. We will never go back and we will never apologise for who we are.
