Let this be your sign, no matter your size, to try new things - especially things that might feel exclusive to one body type. I always assumed Pilates was just for a specific girl and specific size. I let that assumption manifest into a fear of trying it, until one day I decided that my size will not be a limitation. And since then, I’ve never felt more free. I know it’s so daunting entering spaces that often judge larger bodies simply for existing. For me, it has been daunting sharing my journey online for the world to see. But if it can encourage someone like me to try something new, to go after what they want and take risks, then it’s worth it.
