For my first mix compilation for Star 69 Records many moons ago I channeled the cover art for the Ohio Players Honey Album. For me it was a no brainer. So many cultural moments between 1969-1981. As I always say, I don’t look to the past in a nostalgic way but in a critical way of shifting energy from different time periods as energy never dissapates or stagnates. #research
