One year ago I had my left hip replaced. Oh what a difference a year makes!! So grateful for my family, my co-workers, my surgeon and physical therapist, my health insurance (as flawed as the healthcare system in this country is) and everyone who supported me on my road to recovery-today I was able to hike the Flume Gorge trail, free of pain, and it was a blast! We saw moss. We saw chipmunks. We saw lady slippers. We saw glacial boulders.
