Got to celebrate home today with old and new friends, both in buying my first home and setting down some serious roots, and upcoming top surgery which too is about arriving home. Chani said the 23rd was a great day for pitching dreams and schemes, and since it’s Leo season, here were mine: to vividly live in community. To co-create a deep and wide belonging. To unburden myself of the costumes and anxieties and mental gymnastics of not being entirely myself. I’m so grateful to friends for sharing their bravery or helping me find a kind mirror, for the sweet love they share in both quiet and loud moments. This is a little tribute to them, especially the nyc crew this last year. Thank you for helping me get here, and celebrating with me. T minus two weeks!!
