Matcha Grapefruit Tonic 🌱 perfect for hot summer days 🥵 RECIPE: Make the grapefruit syrup:

1 cup fresh pink grapefruit juice (about 2 to 3 pink grapefruits juiced)

1/2 cup honey For each serving of grapefruit matcha tonic:

3 tablespoons prepared grapefruit syrup 

1⁄2 cup tonic water or more to your preference 

1 teaspoon or ceremonial grade matcha

1⁄4 cup water room temperature or cool 
Grapefruit slices (optional for garnish) 
Ice as needed Make the grapefruit honey: Combine the fresh pink grapefruit juice and honey in a sauce pan, heat gently until honey is dissolved. 
 Transfer the grapefruit honey into a jar, cool and refrigerate.
 Make the grapefruit matcha tonic: Fill a glass up with ice, add 3 tablespoons of homemade grapefruit syrup. Add your tonic water. 
 In a small bowl or matcha bowl, add the matcha powder. Add half of the water and mix well with a matcha whisk. Add the remaining water and whisk well.
 Pour the matcha into the glass, over the tonic water. Garnish with mint. Enjoy! 🖤 Chef K
