The extra waste created during the holiday season amounts to 25 million tons of garbage or about 1 million extra tons per week! So what can we do to reduce our waste creation this holiday season and not get too overwhelmed by balancing sustainability with the magic of the holidays? 🎁

If you’d still like to get a physical gift, look for these things: - items made from natural fibers and recycled materials - Watch out for plastic wrapping - Look for small, local, BIPOC-owned businesses to support - And make sure that the gift you give is actually something there person
