She finds herself unraveling a mystery through her antique shop as she finds a locked diary and a lettter in an old steamer chest, asking for the diary to be restored to its rightful owner. As she tries to solve this mystery her relationship with an US Marshal gets under a lot of pressure. The characters are well written and I love the combination of a mystery and a love story. The relationship between the main characters is very relatable and I love how the past and the present come together in this book.
