The trip of a lifetime...twelve times! Twelve years ago, I returned from my first trip to the Dominican Republic @meetinggodinmissions and @grovectycollege To go once is life-changing. To go twelve times is one of the greatest blessings in my life. Time and words would fail me to share all I’ve seen God do, but I have witnessed some truly incredible things on this trip. I’ve seen so much of the D.R.’s natural beauty all across the island. I’ve seen dozens of lives of Americans transformed by the saving power of the Gospel. I’ve seen countless more have their walk with God turbocharged by personal devotions, morning worship, service in the villages, and fellowship. I’ve seen scores of Dominicans trust Christ as their Saviour through various evangelistic outreaches in churches, baseball fields, houses and sugar cane fields across the D.R. I’ve seen @fcaatiup and @millersvillefca in some of its early days, and seen those ministries grow from a far. It’s been a tremendous blessing to see God use their leaders, and play a small part in trips they’ve led over the last few years. I’ve seen this trip impact Grove City, from my first trip in 2013 to now. I am so, so happy to see @FCA continuing the tradition. #NeverGraduate I’ve seen God use Jim McDonald to lead this ministry and still influence multitudes in his final years, including providing me with some wise counsel in times when I really needed it. I’ve been tremendously privileged to work with the incredible staff at MGM, truly some of most amazing servants of the Lord I’ve ever met. And I’ve been so incredibly blessed to conduct baseball clinics with a truly great group of coaches who, from my very first trip, included me in everything and showed me the ropes at MGM, serving the Lord and having a heck of a time while doing it. I’ve met so many wonderful people over the years on these trips. I am SO thankful that our paths crossed, whether it was for one week or twelve. Wherever you may be now, I pray God would with be with you and bless you in all that you do. God is so good, and I pray he'll continue to allow me to see Him do it again and again. ¡Gloria a dios!
