Women deserve a place in sports🏆 • • • After undergrad, I switched up my career goals and decided to explore the other side of sports…the admin, “behind-the-scenes” world. And as of today, I’m officially one month away from earning my Master’s in Sports Administration 🥳 NSU Athletics took a chance on a young woman and gave me the amazing opportunity to be the Athletic Academic Coordinator. Being a full-time staff member AND a full-time grad student? Not for the weak, but this moment makes every late night worth it. There’s something so special about carving out space for girls like me in this field…and helping empower other women to do the same💞🫂 I’m so thankful for my friends, family, coworkers, and most importantly my student-athletes…you are the reason I fell in love with this job even on the most stressful days (my Summer Bridge group knows what I mean 🫩🤣) So here’s to the end of a chapter I’ll never forget and the start of whatever’s next.
