Here’s everything you need to know about our arch-nemesis greenwashing 🤮 With consumers becoming increasingly concerned about climate change, brands are realising that they can use this as a marketing tactic. Words like sustainable, eco, conscious and organic hold no real meaning other than to deceive the consumer. A brand a can say a t-shirt is made from organic cotton when in actual fact it’s only 10% organic cotton. A brand can say that the range is ‘recycled’ or ‘sustainable’ and yet not be paying their garment factory workers a living wage ❌ Greenwashing has made it extremely hard to take these things at face value. Do your research, ask questions and remember - if it seems to good to be true, it probably is... 🤷🏼‍♀️
