I am a full-fledged 💫insomniac girlie💫 so this video was hard to think through and it shows. I heard of this concept called psychological permission, where people feel like they need permission from an influencer to change their mind before they can come out and public change theirs, as well. Blue girlies in hopelessly red states, I’ve lived in enough places (5 since 2020) to know that your state probably isn’t as red as it feels. There’s real power in your protests and your calls. Because deep down, all these Republican reps are terrified of losing their democracy too. They’re just not brave enough to break with their party.
