Coming back down to earth and reflecting on the UK/Euro leg of the Solar Power tour... It was a life-changing time that I can’t fully explain, but I’ll say this— I realized I went to bed every night happily buzzing from the adventure we had had that day. Whether we played a show in a breath-taking venue or just enjoyed each other’s company at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant we stumbled across in a new town, I went to sleep grateful for the journey and for the people who were on it with me. What a gift. There were those tough moments that you’d expect from tour life— exhaustion, occasional sickness, missing our loved ones, etc.— but I derived so much energy from exploring new cities, and I was bolstered by so much love from my amazing tour family 🥲 and from our generous audiences. So many beautiful, sparkling memories to share — I’ll try to keep it to two posts but I make no guarantees. 🐥 Huge thanks to our hard-working crew for making these performances run smoothly and to @lorde for trusting us with her fantastic songs.
