Wow. Still processing the magic of this six week tour with @macklemore @kingselliot and @imaginedragons. My first fully sober tour( officially at one year and 3months of clarity) . 21 cities, US, Canada, and Germany. Over 500,000 live fans. A beautiful tour family. The ups and downs. Tele therapy, hotel gyms, pickleball in every city. The kindness and support of loved ones on the phone. Missing home. Loving catering. Doing laundry in Utah. Aka dropping it off for wash and fold servicing cause who has time to be a grown responsible adult. Embracing fears and shedding some tears watching Ted lasso on flights. So many damn games of Spades in the green room and on the bus. Props to @xperiencexp for teaching us the game. Being reminded that the show isn’t about me or the band it’s about US. Acknowledging the power of music. Getting lost in it, and submitting to what ever the hell it makes you feel. I love this ‘job’. I’ve cried tears and shed blood to be here. What ever it is you want you want from this life, go after it and get it. It’s possible and I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m afraid everyday! Trust me. But go get that.
