Every 2nd week of June I get to spoil myself with peonies from my garden that smell like heaven. I wish everyone could get a whiff of this deliciousness through your screens. I always make sure to do the "marshmallow squeeze" before I harvest. It's crazy how big they get in a matter of a few hours from cutting. I'm looking forward to adding more varieties of peonies to my backyard this fall because they are seriously my favorite flowers. They are short-lived but SO worth.
