you guys seem to like this type of video so i’m back again with another skincare tips ‘OILY SKIN’ edition ✨ my number 1 sin when i first started skincare was skipping moisturizer. living in a tropical country and having oily, easily-clogged skin, it’s difficult for me to find moisturizers that won’t just be right for my skin, but will also work for the climate i live in. i know many of you can relate to this too since a lot seem to cater for drier skin types. at the beginning i thought moisturizer was unnecessary since it could make my oily skin feel ‘heavier’ and greasier but besties, don’t get it twisted! without moisturizers helping to add & seal all that precious moisture, your skin will be dehydrated which can lead to it overcompensating by producing MORE oil and end up clogging your pores and cause acne. i only skip my moisturizers if the sunscreen i’m using that day is moisturizing or occlusive enough. 👍🏻 i had also posted a video on moisturizers recommendations for oily skin, so do check out my feed for that! my fellow oily-skin queens, what’s your number 1 skincare tip? 🫶
