Two years of knowing @thomkienbaum!!! On this day in 2023, we matched on @bumble and started the most epic conversation of my life. Thomas was in France, looking for an English pen pal; I was in New York, looking for a French pen pal because we both wanted to learn each other’s languages. I’m so grateful for all the words we’ve exchanged and the love and joy that has blossomed from them. I know a lot of people hate dating apps, but I had the most fun on them when I was just looking for meaningful connection and friends. I just wanted to make my world bigger —and ended up finding the love of my life (and some very cool new friends and stories) in the process.
