Triple Crown 2023 🇺🇸 I have never planned this far out. I’m still wrapping up this year with @acrossandes, but I’m already fired up for next year. I’ll be racing the Triple Crown— the three biggest bikepacking races in the US: the Tour Divide in June, the Colorado Trail Race in August and the Arizona Trail in October. I’ll be at the group starts & will have no media coverage while racing. We’ve made 2 Tour Divide videos & 2 Arizona Trail videos. A huge goal was to show the beauty of these rides & encourage more people to get out there. I am incredibly proud of Rue for all of her hard work. The reality is, since I started racing in 2015, female participation at American bikepacking races has actually decreased while the sport has grown tremendously. This is not good. At the Tour Divide in 2015 there were 20 women at the start (out of 160+ riders). This year there were only 12. My two goals for the Triple Crown are to ride my best & encourage more women to come to the starts. Come race with me or come send us off & go on your own tour. Whatever you do, bring your bike! Bring your mothers, daughters, sisters & friends. Please help me make this space welcoming for everyone. I’ll be working with @revelatedesigns to organize pre-race social events in Banff, Durango & Tucson. In addition, I’ll be working with @komoot to organize three women’s bikepacking rallies next year: Canary Islands in January, Slovenia in September & Tucson in November As well as Tucson GRIT, my girls adventure riding mentorship program, in March & April.
