Whoop! Save the date, 8/18 for @elementsfestival_ ! Last time I played Elements Festival was in September 2020 - it was the first festival in the US that introduced 2 part testing before entering the grounds. I rented a van and drove 9000 miles through America to the East Coast and back, with friends and 4 other shows on the way.. def the furthest I ever drove to a gig. This trip is one of my fondest „pandemic memories“ with so many stories I could tell. What a huge country this is! And what a surreal way to see it: empty cities, roads, hotels, campgrounds away from the noise, all while the presidential elections were being prepared in full effect. Since the vibes were so toxic on socialmedia during that time, most of this trip happened away from judging eyes.
