The best action happens when we join forces and leverage our collective power together. A few major highlights of 2022 signed into CA law include: - SB 54 - tackle plastic production accountability - AB 1832 - bans seabed mining off the coast of CA - AB 1857 - reclassifies incinerators as disposal and not recycling - AB 2208 - phase out fluorescent lamps that contain mercury - SB 1215 - adds batteries to the Electronic Waste Recycling Act - AB 2440 - requires manufacturers to set up recycling for batteries & battery-embedded products Our small team is working to mitigate pollution everyday while highlighting the importance of the land-to-sea connection.
