I’ve been using the @joshrosebrook Vital Balm Cream for a few years now and it’s fantastic. I’m NEVER without a pot. Everyone should try it. And as much as I always enjoy everything I try from Josh (his mist, SPF and vitamin C serum are close runners up for favourites!) nothing really comes close to the wow I get when I use Vital Balm Cream. It’s all great but the Vital Balm is THAT good. So, as much as I was excited to try this latest release, I wasn’t prepared to be placing an order for a replacement after a few days of use! The new Ultra Peptide Cream is a cream based serum packed with peptides. There’s also some ceramides, niacinamide, fatty acids and postbiotics in here. Sniffing this in the jar, it reminded me of the smell of the Josh Rosebrook vitamin C serum but when you apply it the smell opens up like a fine wine and it’s just beautiful. However, where this really shines is the texture. It’s the most stunning silky, velvety cream. You only need a little and it’s leaves the skin feeling so soft. I don’t think I’ve used anything quite like it before... and I’m utterly hooked. If you’re on the drier side, you may want to top this off with another cream but it’s probably not necessary for a lot of us. This is an absolute winner for me. Just an utter joy to use and it’s another one that everyone needs to try.
