Congratulations Monica Ikegwu!!! . Monica has enjoyed a banner year thus far with immeasurable success. . Band of Vices is pleased to announce that earlier this year, the Baltimore Museum of Art acquired three paintings by Monica Ikegwu. Through the generous support of private collectors Michael Sherman and Michael Ealy, 3 of Monica's works were purchased and donated to the Permanent Collection of her hometown institution, The Baltimore Museum of Art. . (Red 3, Red 4, Red 5, oil on canvas, 10x8, 2021). . Her work was recently included in the Venice Biennale, Frieze Seoul, in an exhibition at Philips and her latest work will be featured in Christie’s “Post-War to Present”, a collaboration with Black-owned gallery, Galerie Myrtis, in Baltimore. .
