Mutated Animatronic Bear made for the film Annihilation. Designer and supervisor was my good friend and hugely talented @tristancorneliusversluis, moulding by @brianbestfx, fabrication by @tahrazafarltd, Alice Smart and Zosia Stella-Sawicka. Animatronics by Adam Wright and Guy Stevens. This was an amazing project to be part of. The film is fantastic and got lots of attention when it was released on Netflix a couple of years ago. I poured, seamed and art finished the silicone skin. I’ve included some progress shots of the painting. It was pretty big and like with almost everything we work on we don’t have a lot of time.
