December’s mail goes out in a few days and I find that the moment before packing up all the envelopes has become my favorite each month! It’s so satisfying to see the little, well not so little anymore - stacks of prints or stickers that will get sent to everyone and it’s so odd and surreal to imagine them arriving on your doorstep or making its way to places as far as Qatar, Hong Kong, Australia you name it. 💌 My partner said he used to get upset when he saw people posting about getting the mail because to him it was something I worked so hard on and he saw it on my desk for weeks and it’s like it was stolen 😂 I thought that was so cute but for me seeing you post about how you receive and use your mail is what makes it actually feel real! Also just photographing it all is honestly so fun for me I have way too many photos from each month but I can’t help it when after a day or two it’s all gone and I’ll never get to see all of the mail together in one place again! Anywho, just some thoughts as I get ready to pack December’s mail.
