I’ve dreamed of visiting Jiufen for the longest time (tbh one of the main reasons I wanted to visit Taiwan), since it so closely resembles visuals from the bath house in Spirited Away, one of my favorite films. I’m so glad I finally got to see it in person— despite the rain, it really did feel like I was in a movie. 🥹🏮 It did get verrrry crowded during the day so I recommend an overnight stay if you want to experience old street without as many people.
