With @makingprettyspaces story on our countertop pot filler, there’s some new faces here and some questions about this area of the kitchen. I thought this might be a good time to share more on this spot in the kitchen in particular along with some before pics at the end! There were some obstacles within the space that couldn’t be overcome, so I knew I wanted to place the range in front of a big, big window. Out with the old, not-original-to-the-home- window, in with the new. A pop up vent & counter mounted pot filler became necessities. I knew I wanted to keep this area of the kitchen super clean, so our marble mantel would always be star in this space ✨✨✨ We salvaged pieces of marble that were already ripped from the original shower stalls and created bistro shelves for our kitchen walls and brought the tile all the way up. Always inspired by European bistros that blend beauty & form with utility & function while blending the old with the new.
