Felt so nice, I had to do it twice 🎓 • • • Who would’ve thought a girl from Brooklyn, NY would end up in Natchitoches, LA? After being the first in my family to graduate from college ( shoutout @stetsonu ), I knew I didn’t want to stop at a bachelor’s degree. Furthering my education was always part of the plan, but coming to NSU wasn’t. I can now say it was truly a blessing in disguise. I’m grateful for the people who brought me here and those who pushed me to take a leap of faith far outside my comfort zone. I’m especially grateful for the friends, classmates, and coworkers who have become my family in Natchitoches (Mu Omega Zeta, NSU Athletics, NSU Recruiting, NSU HHP, and so many others). This degree not only solidifies my academic accomplishments, but it signifies being a young woman who just went for it. Love, heartache, blood, sweat, and tears shaped the woman I’m becoming, but NSU gave me the push to carve out my own path for myself, by myself. Cheers to being 2 degrees hotter 🥂💜
