David Greenhill’s mission is to save the trees. But not in the way you might think. He’s the owner of Portland’s @good_wood_wood_goods, a lumber company whose wood doesn’t come from the forest. Instead, the wood is reclaimed from 100-year-old homes and barns in the Pacific Northwest or fences from backyards in California. Each plank is perfectly imperfect. And each plank is one saved from the landfill.
