I forgot to mention that the Panthers also have this guy. Actually, I never really have forgotten to mention that but this is the first clips of him since Jake became the first Frosh in program history to reach the state podium. The task for a lot of people this season will be trying to find a way to slow him down. Last season, Jake’s only loss in his first 36 bouts came against Southern’s state champion. He will look to defend his SCT title and district titles while looking to claim his first region title after a narrow loss to the state 5th place finisher in the region final. Jake will make a run at a top 5 finish and inevitably I feel he will eventually be the first Panther since Jordan Beverly to do so. Jake’s 41 season victories last year was right behind Beverly’s 43 for most in a single season.
