There’s just something about your third… Maybe it’s the perspective or maybe it’s God softening me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I’m not worried about the schedule anymore. I’m not overthinking if I’m holding him too much or too long. I could care less about hitting certain milestones etc … All the things I stressed about with my first and second just don’t carry the same weight now. And what’s funny is that life is actually busier 😂 I’m still chasing two toddlers. There is noise, diapers, and constant movement all around me… yet this season somehow feels slower… Almost like God is helping me breathe deeper 🙌🏼 I’m more aware of how fleeting it all is. I find myself looking at them a little longer. I’m thankful when I’m nap trapped. I hold their tiny hands a little tighter because I finally understand how fast these holy and ordinary moments go. Maybe that’s the gift of a third. The way God opens your eyes. The way He steadies your heart. The way He reminds you to be here… really be here. To soak in the sweetness.
