@eltonjohn is a national treasure, with Bernie Taupen he’s written some of the best songs ever written. This is my favourite Elton song, although weirdly, I’ve always got the lyric wrong, always thought it was here, rather than there, in ‘this train don’t stop there anymore.’ It makes a big difference.
