We have spent several years looking for details and living descendants of Adam van Gilst, 7-6-1908 from Rotterdam, Holland. We have found a lot of pieces of info along the way but he was our Dad’s biological father (whom he never met). We have found the previous 3 generations before Adam, birth dates, other son’s names are Jan van Gilst 26-4-1933 and Hendrik van Gilst 14-6-1935 and would be his half brothers. Adam is pictured on the left and left, then my brother Paul, our Dad Ron Grenier (Eddie R Grenier) and my other brother, Mark. The resemblance is strong! I reached out to Edward van Gilst via social media in 2017 hoping there would be a connection and he’s been so gracious to help us. 🙏🏼❤️ Any help or recommendations for a local Rotterdam genealogist, church or library who can help us would be appreciated!
