THIS IS 53🎉 . . My birthday was Friday, June 24...the day started with a shimmy shake with one of my favorite @purebarrestaugustine instructors, @breannaisbrown from my home state of DE, dinner @freshcatch27 downtown (an insanely delicious meal of braised beef risotto atop carrot purée with 2 pan seared scallops😍...mind blowing) in my birthday splurge from my new favorite shop @twosparrows_sta . The celebration continued into Saturday when we drove 3 hours to pick up my gift, a 6.5’ long surfboard artistic reaction extraordinaire by @jakejonesgallery ..... and, within 30 minutes of getting home, our turtle found his new home in our dining area. We hadn’t been to the beach in a few weekends for travel, so today was our day! Lunch @saltlifefoodshackstaug followed by a few hours of beach time, and a lovely sunset to round out the weekend. My heart is full and I wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday from comments to messages and texts galore. I appreciate you ALL and am looking forward to this coming year...it is indeed a GOOD GOOD LIFE!!!
