It was an honor joining our nation’s postal workers today at the @apwunational biennial convention, where we discussed the pivotal role postal workers have played in fighting for democracy, postal banking, Medicare for All, and tackling the climate crisis as we secure an unprecedented buildout of an electric fleet for the USPS. . Did you know that the postal workers union (@apwunational) was founded as a result of the largest wildcat strike in US history? To this day they remain a profoundly courageous union in the United States. That brave spirit and unblinking fight is exactly what is necessary to win a future for the working class.
