Cold Fusion Keratin Flat Bond 🤩. It’s fun to watch, yes?!
Sometimes there’s confusion when it comes to thermal or cold application... and I’m here to set the record straight... BOTH are great. One is not healthier or more gentle than the other. They’re both useful depending on the scenario, but instead of getting into a warm vs cold application on this post, let’s talk round vs flat bond!
ROUND BONDS are universal! ALL types of hair texture & density can use round bonds. Their finished shape feels like a smooth grain of rice.
FLAT BONDS are great in medium to thick hair only. If the hair is too thin, a flat bond can cause damage. The flat bond creates a mini “weft” or fan effect in lengths & ends of hair as opposed to a cylinder shaped round bond. So in SOME cases you could use a bit less hair in the total application.
There’s a lots to nerd out over with bond shapes and application types! Too much for one post. So what’s your preferred method?
