“The mother covered her son's wounds with her fingers, she was crying and shouting: "Save my child!" On the way, the boy's heart stopped. We resuscitated him. The team was desperate then, and the paramedic and the driver all acted in unison. This is a difficult process. But when you finally see the heart rate on the monitor - it is better than any award.” This is Olga Sekliy's story. She is an intern at the Kharkiv Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine. Despite her relatives begging, she would not leave her job and evacuate to a safer city. Olga stayed at Kharkiv and rescued lives under bombing: "You never know when or where they will fly. But I'm definitely in my place. People need me here, I'm doing my job." Вона попри вмовляння рідних не змогла залишити роботу медиком та евакуюватися у безпечніше місто. Ольга залишається у Харкові й під обстрілами надає допомогу: «Ніколи не знаєш, коли прилетить, куди прилетить. Але я точно на своєму місці. Я тут потрібна, я роблю свою справу».
