Leaving something your so comfortable with is extremely hard, even if that something is a bad situation, toxic person, abusive relationship etc, and if you have never been faced with that decision you may not understand the difficulty that comes with it. It makes me think of the book of Exodus where Gods people were being delivered from bondage yet complained and considered returning because where God was leading them, although the promise land, it was unfamiliar and uncharted territory. So for them bondage felt familiar and safe. I don’t know about you but I can relate to that on so many levels. I’m glad I finally trusted Gods leading as I have discovered so many beautiful new beginnings which all started from an ending that was extremely difficult for me to walk from.
