*trigger warning* suicide I share this not for sympathy, but because I want to share how the Lord has worked over the past nine years. Nine years ago was one of the darkest days of my life. For a long time, I couldn’t even really talk about Sydni or what happened without getting extremely tearful, anxious, & depressed, but the Lord has been gradually healing my wounds and has slowly revealed his bigger plan. Earlier this fall, I had the opportunity to share my testimony with my small group, and this was the first time I’ve ever fully written out everything that happened and how it affected me, and it was the first time I was fully honest with myself and then with others when I shared in my small group.
