Quick lil wknd surprise in Canada☕️🇨🇦🦆🛷 +a lil note on honor —————————————————————— -HONOR- The Lords been bringing up the word honor to my heart a lot. He’s been prompting me to take communion more intentionally and the word that keeps pounding in my head when I take communion is honor. I’ve been meditating on how beautiful it is to honor abba. To thank him, to celebrate him. So often we think of honoring the Lord as a legalistic thing or something that is filled with rules and good works. It’s not about that!! It is so much deeper and that is not Gods heart for us. He’s been opening my eyes to how beautiful it is to just honor him. Communion is such a beautiful piece of our relationship with abba. All he asks is that we bring simply what we have to him, in surrender. There’s so much more to honoring him than the basic things we think of that our culture revolves around. Each time that we love someone as he would we are honoring him with our actions. Each time that we worship with celebration for what he’s going to do, we are getting to honor him and his power and love. Honor his character. How beautiful is that, we are partnering with a piece of his heart for his people while also getting to honor him. I encourage you to think about the word honor and how beautiful it is. For me the gift of getting to honor him has brought such deep joy. It’s such a beautiful gift to honor the one who made the greatest sacrifice. He’s been really teaching me the beauty of communion and declaring the power of it over my body. Even within that I’ve been learning the beauty behind honoring him for the sacrifice he made. May we learn to honor him for his sacrifice in everything that we do. May communion no longer be a thing we do on routine without meaning but may it become something that we hunger for.
