ChilišŸŒ¶ļøšŸ«˜šŸ… This is THEE best chili you’ll ever make!! You also can’t mess it up so that’s a plus! And NONE of the toppings are optionalšŸ«¶šŸ» * 1 pound ground beef * 1 pound mild Italian sausage * 1 yellow onion * 1 to 2 jalapeños * 1 green bell pepper * 2 mild chili seasoning packets * 1 tbsp smoked paprika * 3 tbsp tomato paste * 14.5 oz can beef broth (or 1 3/4 cup) * 2 of the 10 oz cans of mild rotel * 15 oz can tomato sauce * 1 can kidney beans (drained) * 1 can pinto beans (drained) * 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar * 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder * 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce For topping: * shredded cheddar * green onions * sour cream * fritos scoops Start by chopping up your veggies. In a large pot on medium to medium high heat, cook your ground beef and Italian sausage in some olive oil or butter. When it’s halfway cooked, add your jalapeños, onion, and bell pepper. After about five minutes, add your chili seasoning packets and smoked paprika. Stir. After a few minutes add in the tomato paste and stir. Once the tomato paste is well incorporated, add the beef broth, rotel, tomato sauce, and beans. Scrape the bottom with the spatula to get the yummy burnt bits. When it comes to a simmer, add the brown sugar, cocoa powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and turn it to low heat, cover, and let simmer for 45 minutes. Stir once or twice during that time, scraping the bottom to lift up some of that flavor. Add the toppings and that’s it!
