I know it’s cold but it’s so nice to have some sunshine at the moment...! And sunshine in a bottle comes from @kaeaskincare which is a new brand to me. It hails from New Zealand and unites plant science, New Zealand active botanicals and Manuka honey. It’s also worth mentioning that they’re committed to conservation and biodiversity protection. I’ve only just started the two balms but the star at the moment for me is The Vitaliser, a lovely Multi-Omega Face Oil which is packed with Omegas 3, 6 and 9 plus vitamin E. Just a few drops warmed in the palms adds a great boost of hydration. Also shown here are The Rejuvenator and The Rescuer balms which is where you’ll find the honey..! The Rejuvenator is your sort of everyday balm. It’s nutrient packed and just a little goes a long way. It gives the most amazing glow but as with most balms, if you want less glow, just use a bit less. The Rescuer is described as an SOS Balm. It’s thicker and richer and perfect for when your skin needs extra care. So far I’ve only used this as an overnight “slugging” balm as I’ve not had any need for skin rescue but I’ll be reaching for this as soon as the skin inevitably flairs up! I’ll be posting more about this and The Rejuvenator when I’ve had chance to use them more. The brand also offers a gel balm cleanser which looks lovely.
