Ma in breve l’ultimo dei tre balletti di Čajkovskij diventa un successo soprattutto grazie alla sua particolare e unica tinta musicale. But in a short time, the last of Tchaikovsky’s three ballets became a success mainly due to its unique musical tone. The composer succeeds in his third and final ballet to mix the comic and the melancholic, the naive and the fabulous, while maintaining a calibrated formal balance.
