Drove down to Hardy, Arkansas yesterday to photograph Fourth of July celebrations along the Spring River. What started as a day trip turned into an overnight stay at the Callicott cabin. After swimming at the falls all afternoon, the real party began. Word got out we were paddling to the sandbar with fireworks, and the neighbors sent us off with reinforcements. We cracked open some cold beers and lit them off, laughing like little kids.
