When was the last time you did something for the very first time? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ There are two thing that years ago when getting into the outdoors I said I would *never* try - ice climbing and mountain biking. They both terrify me to my core. And in all honesty I always knew that this rule of sorts would be broken, but assumed that the break would come with the biking, not the climbing. However, a few days ago while out on a mountaineering course with @cloudnineguides I was tossed down a glacial millwell and instructed to climb my way back out. My legs were shaking from my first step to the point that my crampons had a hard time gripping the ice wall. Without style or grace I made my way up... and then did it again.
