10 years old today. This was a special album, got to work with the amazing producer John Congleton, and this was the only record to have our buddy Scott Brackett playing a whole host of instruments, some guest vocals by Samantha Crain and guest homemade instruments played by Thor Harris, plus great art by Celeste Byers. It's a really dark and magical album- being able to go back to a 5-piece after three albums with only four members was a real treat. We were able to capture way more moods and explore new territory. Proud of all our albums but this one was very creatively satisfying. I remember thinking a lot about the mood that David Lynch creates while working on this record- prob my #1 inspo for this band, really. We started a new tradition to press albums on silver vinyl when they turn 10 and gold when they turn 20.
